The State Exam Station, located at 418 Pine Street in Chaska, is a shared facility with the Chaska License Center operated by the County.  Class D knowledge and road tests offered at the Exam Station are administered by the State of Minnesota. If you have any questions or concerns related to testing, contact the State of Minnesota directly at (651) 284-1234. 

Exam Station Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

• Visit Driver and Vehicle Services: Online appointments can be booked within the next 60 days.

Limited License: Obtaining a Limited License (Work Permit) may require that you pay fees and take the appropriate tests, complete an application for a new license and speak to an evaluator. There is not an evaluator at the Chaska location.  There are evaluators in Plymouth, Eagan, and Arden Hills exam stations. The phone number to speak to an evaluator in St. Paul is (651) 296-2025.
