Once you have looked at the individual layers, go to the bottom left of the screen and click on “Multi-layer tool.”
Then click on the small white icon on the bottom left of the map that shows multiple squares on top of one another. This should open a list of all 9 layers. Select the two layers you would like to compare.
Use the slider in the center of the map to explore the intersection of your chosen layers.
NOTE: Because this map was designed to show the intersection of crime victimization and other risk factors or barriers, when using the Multi-Layer Tool the left side of the slider will only show Individual law enforcement calls (layer 1) and/or the Heatmap of county crime victimization (layer 2). All other layers will show up on the right side of the slider.
Disclaimer: The Victim/Witness Risk and Resources Map was originally developed through a training and technical assistance grant obtained from Justice For All and is maintained and annually updated by Carver County.
