The Minnesota State Legislature passed a budget bill allocating $25 million to Carver County’s Highway 212 project, allowing the County to move forward with the project’s second phase. Once that phase is completed, Highway 212 will feature a four-lane expressway through the entire County.

Carver County recently celebrated the reopening of the Minnesota River Bluffs Regional Trail between Dell Road in the City of Eden Prairie and Bluff Creek Drive in the City of Chanhassen.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will end spring load restrictions (SLR) in the SOUTHEAST and METRO frost zones Monday, April 12, 2021 at 12:01 AM.

Carver County received $2.5 million from the most recent State bonding bill to use towards a waterfront pavilion and other support services in the redesigned Lake Waconia Regional Park. The County plans to provide a matching $2.5 million to complete this portion of the project.
