Project Description

This project will improve the safety of the road and bridge over Silver Creek.

Improvement Summary:

• Raise the road approximately 6 feet near Silver Creek Bridge.
• Replace the deficient, load restricted, three span timber bridge over Silver Creek with a new single span pre-stressed concrete beam bridge meeting current design standards.
• Add guardrail and improve ditch drainage near bridge.
• Creek channel stabilization adjacent to bridge.

Traffic Impacts

• The road was closed for bridge replacement June 2023 and is now open again.

What to Expect

• Tree clearing was completed in March 2023.
• Construction start June 2023.
• The project is anticipated to be complete fall 2023. See closure/detour map.
