Project Description
Mill & overlay street pavements. Repave trail. Pedestrian ramp improvements. Short street reconstruction area immediately north of CSAH 14 (Pioneer Trail).
Traffic Impacts
Road Closure October 7-9

Highway 17 (Powers Boulevard) will be closed between south of Highway 212 and Pioneer Trail for resurfacing work and to repair a small portion of the road that is failing. Detours will be posted, use Audubon Boulevard as an alternate route.

Following this closure, the street will be milled and overlayed and median work will be completed. All resurfacing work is scheduled to be done by mid-October.
Stoplight Work Starts October 7
- Stoplight work will be taking place beginning October 7 and the intersection of Highway 17 and West 78th Street. Advance warning signs have been placed and this portion of the road will not be shut down to traffic.
What To Expect
- Minimal traffic impacts. Project will result in a smoother pavement surface for road and trail, improved ped ramps, and new pavement markings.
