Project Description

Carver County, in conjunction with the City of Victoria, is in the design stage of the Highway 11 Project - Carver Park Reserve. This project will work to add wider shoulders, improve road geometrics, and enhance safety from Highway 5 to Highway 7.

Current Traffic Impacts

Coring will take place along Highway 11 between Highway 7 and Highway 5 on July 11, weather and schedule permitting. Expect single lane closures. Work is anticipated to be complete within 1-2 days.

What to Expect

During the design phase, expect occasional project site visits by County and Consultant Employees. Be on the lookout for vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road or slow moving traffic. This design phase of this project will continue through the summer of 2024 until tree clearing begins in the winter of 2024. Road construction will begin in the spring of 2025.
