Project Description

Carver County will work with the City of Victoria to provide enhanced safety and mobility at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 14. This intersection was identified as a candidate and received federal funding through the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) to construct a roundabout.

Benefits

• Improve visibility of vehicles and pedestrians at intersections with lighting and unobstructed sightlines.
• Improve signing and pavement markings.
• Install proper signing at crosswalks.
• Reduce conflict points and the opportunity for severe crashes at the intersection.

Traffic Impacts

This project will utilize a full closure spring 2025 in order to quickly and efficiently construct the roundabout.
