Our mission is to provide, administer and coordinate the computer technology infrastructure and related services of the County to meet the business needs of the Board of Commissioners, County Administrator, County departments and offices. The Information Technology Services Department is responsible for all facets of technology including CarverLink, an 89 mile fiber ring within the county, planning and forecasting, researching new and possible technology uses, operating and maintaining electronic processing equipment, administering the county's networks, administering the county's website and providing computer training. Information Technology Services also includes the management of countywide GIS and Records Management and Imaging. It is also responsible for the Central Services Department which posts and delivers all Government Center mail and performs central copying for County departments. Central Services also serves as the County's walk-up information center in the Government Center.
