The 12-bed facility in the City of Chaska on the southwest corner of Lake Bavaria, the Steiner Kelting Mental Wellness facility is owned by Carver County and operated by People Incorporated Mental Health Services.
Clients seek care voluntarily in this transitional facility. Clients must meet certain requirements and not have been deemed dangerous to the community. It serves as an alternative to hospitalization and completes a gap in the County’s mental health continuum of care, offering a service previously not available to our communities. The facility offers a tranquil place for individuals with mental illness to heal – thanks to the collaboration and compassionate leadership of Carver County and People Incorporated.
