Suicide Loss Survivors Support Group: A Behavioral Health staff person facilitates a Suicide Loss Survivors Support Group open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Moravian Church of Waconia, 209 East 2nd Street, Waconia. The support group follows the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention curriculum for facilitating support groups. Call (952) 442-7613 for more information.

NAMI Family Support Group: The Behavioral Health Department promotes the Carver County Chapter of Minnesota NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) which offers a Family Support Group to adult family members and friends of individuals living with a mental illness. The group meets from 6:30-8 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Chaska Moravian Church, 115 Fourth St., Chaska. The meeting is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.
