Day treatment services for adolescents experiencing mental health issues are offered through the Anicca Program. This program for students in grades 7-12 is designed for adolescents who need an increased level of mental health support to reduce mental health symptoms and learn skills to enhance their social, emotional, and academic functioning. The program is also designed for adolescents transitioning from hospital, partial hospital, or residential services.

The program addresses a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, emotional regulation, anxious/depressive symptoms, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, gender identity, school attendance/work completion, maintaining healthy relationships, attention related difficulties, and mental health hospitalizations.

Services are provided by licensed and qualified mental health staff in a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment that is interactive and includes group therapy, emotional and social skills groups, psychoeducation, individual and family therapy, and daily academic instruction from licensed teachers.

Program services are year-round with shortened program hours during the summer months. Transportation is provided by the student’s home school district during the academic year. Program hours and days align with District 112 or District 288 academic calendars.
