Volunteers in Carver County contribute a wealth of skills, time and resources and have an enormous impact on communities they serve. Below is a listing of volunteer and internship opportunities through Carver County.  

Natural Resources & Parks Stewardship Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities include invasive species removal, water monitoring, Adopt A Water program, and habitat restoration.

Education & Recreation Opportunities

Volunteers assist with adult and youth programs ranging from canoeing, archery, stand-up paddle boarding, campfire program, and/or provide presentations on variety of topics.

Special Event Opportunities

Sheriff's Office Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities include the Chaplain program, dive team, Explorers Unit, Internship/Mentor Program, Mounted Posse Unit, and Reserve Unit.

Class and Certification Opportunities

These programs certify you in an area of expertise such as gardening, natural resources or recycling. Once certified you are required to do volunteer hours in that area of expertise to maintain your certification. Volunteer opportunities are provided on the program websites.
