Some adults and juveniles are given the opportunity to complete community service as a result of their court involvement. Carver County Court Services views this as an opportunity to engage individuals in their communities and provide restoration for offenses committed.  There are parameters around what can be accepted for community service obligations. It is important once you have located a community service opportunity that you get approval of the site from your agent. A list of site options and locations is available at the Court Services office. 

Throughout the year, Court Services offers creative educational and experiential opportunities for youth to receive credit for community service hours.  If you have questions about juvenile community service or how to get connected with a community service provider, please contact the agent assigned to the matter.
